Yogi to release new version of Hanuman Chalisa on Oct. 23
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the new version of Shri Hanuman Chalisa sung by popular playback singer and Padma Shri awardee Sonu Nigam in Ayodhya on the auspicious occasion of Deepotsava on October 23.
A government spokesman said here on Wednesday, “This rendition of Shri Hanuman Chalisa is melodious, soothing and grand”, said a government official. Sonu Nigam is also likely to perform at the event to enthrall the audience in Ayodhya with his mesmerizing voice.”
It may be noted that along with the CM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the grand Deepotsava celebrations in Ayodhya on Sunday as about 17 lakh Diyas (earthen lamps), including over 1.25 lakh Diyas made of cow dung will illuminate Ayodhya, setting a new world record. (UNI)
