Western Army Comdr Lt. Gen. Khanduri visits Rising Star Corps

Dharamshala, Dec 19: Lt Gen Nav K Khanduri, Army Commander, Western Command visited the Rising Star Corps on his two day visit which concluded on Sunday.

Lt Col Devender Anand PRO (Defense) told UNI that Lt Gen PN Ananthanarayanan, GOC Rising Star Corps, updated the Army Commander about the operational readiness of the Corps. Lt Col Devender Anand said that later he was briefed on assistance being provided to ex-servicemen, aid to civil administration and celebration of Swarnim Vijay Varsh.
The Army Commander was shown the various innovations being done in the formation. In addition, the Army Commander was also updated on the state of COVID infections in the area and measures taken by the Corps, Lt Col Devender Anand disclosed.

The Army Commander complimented all ranks for their high state of operational preparedness and activities being undertaken for building the indomitable image of Indian Army.
