Varanasi : Varanasi’s weather in December has been unusually warm, with bright sunshine that reminds one of February. The city’s daytime temperatures have been hovering around 25°C, while the minimum temperature has dipped to 12°C, showing a slight decrease of 2°C from the previous day.

Unlike typical December weather, which is often accompanied by cold waves and chills, there has been no sign of the usual winter chill. The weather department has forecasted that the cold will gradually increase after December 10, with temperatures expected to drop by 3-4°C next week.

On Friday, the air was calm with no significant winds, making the day feel warmer than usual. The trend of bright, sunny days is likely to continue until the arrival of the expected winter cold next week.
