TRV (Kerala) International Airport gets license for new Aerodrome
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 15 (UNI) TRV (Kerala) International Airport Limited (TIAL), the managing company of the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, has received a new aerodrome license.
The license is granted by the Director General of Civil Aviation, a company release said here on Thursday.
Earlier, the airport was operating under the license of Airport Authority of India. The new license was granted to TIAL after evaluating operational procedures, safety standards, competent manpower availability, infrastructure and management efficiency by the DGCA.
Earlier, TIAL was honored with ‘The Voice of the Customer’ award by the Airports Council International (ACI), thus recognizing the resilient efforts put in by all the stakeholders and employees.
The airport was awarded for demonstrating relentless efforts in gathering passenger feedback on customer needs in 2021 and providing the best-in-class travel experience. (UNI)
