TRS workers allegedly indulged in stone pelting: on BJP Yatries: NV Subhash
Hyderabad: BJP strongly condemned the act of ruling TRS party supporters who resorted to stone pelting on the Praja Sangram yatra of state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay in Jangaon district on Monday.
Two BJP workers were injured in the melee when supporters of TRS Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao pelted stones, who wanted to disturb the yatra, N V Subhash, official spokesperson of state BJP, who participated in padayatra along with Bandi Sanjay in Devuraupapala village in Palakurthi assembly constituency, said.
Palakurthy assembly constituency is represented by Erraballi Dayakar Rao, he said ‘it is shameful act of TRs workers, who in such violent act when the country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amruthosasv, a non-violence day’.
The incident happened when BJP president Bandi Sanjay hoisted the national flag in D Evurapauppala village when TRS supporters indulged in a clash with BJP activists who were in the yatra.
Meanwhile, TRS workers suddenly resorted to stone pelting injuring two BJP workers who were rushed to a local hospital, Subhash said.
He demanded police to take action immediately and arrest TRS workers involved in the clashes. (UNI)
