New Delhi, April 18: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and his Arunachal Pradesh counterpart Pema Khandu on Monday separately called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh here and discussed their state’s development issues. Apprising about his meeting with the Defence Minister, Kahndu in a tweet wrote, “Called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ji today and discussed various aspects of development along the border areas of the state.” The CM also informed that he has attended the National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (NIMAS) executive committee meeting along with the Defence Minister. Taking to Twitter, the Tripura CM said, “Honoured to meet with the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today. Apprised him about Tripura government’s developmental policies and had a discussion on opening Sanik school in Tripura.” Deb said Singh assured all support from the Ministry and Centre in this regard.
