1945 – Shekhar Kapur, veteran Indian actor, director and filmmaker. Known for his creative direction in Masoom, Mr. India, Bandit Queen, Elizabeth, Elizabeth:the Golden Age, What’s Love to Do, The Four Feathers, Paani and Viswaroopam-2 etyc. He was awa5rded Filmfare 3 Filmfare, 1 National award and several other accolades like BAFTA, a Golden Globe nomination.
1988 – Rihaan Patel, Indian actor, a motivated creative film director and producer, who produced his first film at 20 years age, like Dust of Orphan, Life Coloyursa Purity, The Burial of Daughters etc. He has won many awards and appreciations.
1988 – Ravindra Singh Jadeja, an aggressive bowler and fielder. He is member of Indian Teast team and ODIs. Also captained Chennai Super Kings in IPL format. He has taken 100 catches in IPL. and has been honored with Arjuna award in 2019.

1956 – Dr. Bhimji Ramji Ambedkar, was an economist, jurist, social reformer and headed the committee that formulated the Indian Consitution. So he’s called the architect of The Constitution of India. He did LLB and Doctorate of Economics from Univ. of London. He converted to Buddhism on Oct. 14, 1956 alongwith 3,65,000 followers, after he was annoyed with Congress Govt. policies on SC/ST and weaker sections of society. This day is commemorated annually as Mahaparinirvan Diwas.
2000 – Bishop Vinod Peter, National Christian Council of India president and church of North India moderator.
2009 – Bina Rai, most popular heroine of 1950s-1990s. he acted in msany jubilee films likle Anarkali, Aurat, Durgesh Nandini, Kali Gata, Taj Mahal, Bandi, Insaniyat, Changez Khan etc. She married veteran actor Prem Nath. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film Ghunghat (1961).
