Tirupari Srivari Saree procession on Nov. 28, Admin readies for smooth function

Tirupati: The Tirupati Municipal Commissioner (TMC) Anupama Anjali has directed TMC engineering and health officials to make all arrangements on the route of the traditional Srivari Saree procession from Tirumala to Sri Padmavathi temple Tiruchanoor for the famous Panchami thirtha fete as part of ongoing Ammavari Karthika Brahmotsavam .
The Commissioner on Friday afternoon inspected the route of saree procession along Alipiri,Vivekananda junction, komalamma choultry ,Chinna bazar Vidhi,phoolavidhi , north Mada street, Bandla Veedhi, RTC bus stand, M S Subbalakshmi junction,Ramanuja junction and Lakshmipuram junction along with health and road work officials.
Speaking on the occasion the Commissioner directed officials to fill up all pot holes on the saree procession route and also blacktop the road and also clean up all garbage wastes on the road.
She instructed that no inconvenience be caused to thousands of devotees and officials who follow the sacred saree procession in the pilgrim city for the Panchami thirtha fete on November 28. (UNI)
