Sunil Shetty Visits Golden Temple with Wife, Expresses Interest in Punjabi Films

Amritsar : Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, famously known as “Anna,” visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar with his wife Mana Shetty on Thursday to mark the beginning of the new year. The couple offered prayers at the holy shrine, paying their respects and seeking blessings for peace and good health. Sunil Shetty shared that it has become a tradition for him to visit the Golden Temple every year, and this year too, he arrived to offer his prayers for world peace and the well-being of all.

After the prayers, Sunil Shetty interacted with his fans outside the temple and clicked photos with them. During a media interaction, he expressed his deep connection to the Golden Temple, stating that he finds peace and solace whenever he visits the shrine. “It is always a refreshing and spiritual experience to be here,” he added.

When asked about his interest in working in Punjabi films, Sunil Shetty replied enthusiastically, saying, “Yes, I would definitely work 100% in Punjabi films if given the opportunity.” His statement was well-received by his fans, particularly those from the Punjabi film industry, where Shetty’s admiration is mutual.

Shetty also took a moment to praise Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, referring to him as a “big star” and expressing confidence that Diljit will continue to rise in stature in the entertainment industry. He acknowledged the immense contribution of Punjabi music to Bollywood, stating that Bollywood cannot function without Punjabi songs. Though Sunil Shetty admitted that he doesn’t know how to sing Punjabi songs, he enjoys listening to them and appreciates the unique energy they bring to films.
