Sudden change of Union Health Minister indicates COVID-19 mismanagement: Tapase

Aurangabad / Mumbai, Jul 13 (UNI) NCP’s chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Tuesday alleged that the sudden replacement of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan with Mansukh Mandaviya was prompted by continuous mismanagement of the Union Health Ministry during the corona vaccination drive.
During the assembly session, the state government had asked the Centre to provide three crore vaccines per month, but the supply of vaccines is not available, he stated in a press statement.
While referring to state Health Minister Rajesh Tope’s statement that Maharashtra has the capacity to vaccinate 15 lakh people every day, Mr Tapase said that this will be possible only after the vaccines become available from the Centre.
He further stated that many Municipal Corporations in the state have no vaccine stocks available for last eight days and alleged that the BJP government at the Centre is solely responsible for this.
