Subash Desai performs ‘Bhumipoojan’ of new Sports Complex

Aurangabad, Jun 27 (UNI) Minister for Industry, Marathi Language and District Guardian Minister Subash Desai on Sunday said that, It is a matter of happiness that a sports complex is being set up in the capital city Aurangabad of Marathwada region which will produce high quality players.For this, the administration should build a sports complex in a timely manner.
He was speaking on the occasion’ Bhumipoojan’ function of District Sports Complex at Chikalthana of School Education and Sports Department, Directorate of Sports Youth Services, District Sports Officer’s Office.
Mr Desai said the district administration had held discussions with the farmers here for the construction of the complex. Understanding their problems of farmers and they provided 37 acres of land for the complex to the sports department. The district administration is appreciated in this regard.
The government is putting more emphasis on providing sports facilities. Substantial funds will also be provided for the construction of this sports complex. The administration should pay attention to the fact that this package will produce the best performing players. At the same time, better facilities should be provided for the players in the complex,he asserted.
