SP Inspects Checkpoints, Issues Three Challans for Traffic Violations
SP Warns Against Duty Negligence and Pledges Strict Action
SP Conducts Surprise Check at City Checkpoints:
On Tuesday, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Arsh Verma visited various police checkpoints in the city to assess the ongoing security measures. During his inspection, he directed the police personnel to conduct thorough checks of suspicious vehicles passing through the checkpoints. This move aims to ensure tighter security and uphold law and order in the area.
Traffic Violations Lead to Three Challans:
During the inspection, the SP found several violations of traffic rules. Three drivers were issued challans for different offenses. One driver was caught driving under the influence of alcohol, while another was found with black film covering his vehicle’s windows, which is against the law. A third vehicle was being driven without a registration number, leading to another fine. These actions are part of the SP’s efforts to enforce strict traffic regulations and ensure public safety.
SP Emphasizes Discipline and Duty Adherence:
SP Arsh Verma stressed the importance of police personnel performing their duties with integrity and diligence. He made it clear that negligence in duty would not be tolerated and promised strict action against any lapses. He also emphasized that the police force should remain vigilant and committed to their core responsibilities of serving, protecting, and assisting the public. The SP reminded the police that they must act as a friend to law-abiding citizens and instill fear in criminals, making the force a symbol of security in the region.
