Smuggling Syndicate Uncovered Gang Deceived People Under the Guise of Selling Ice Cream

Arrest and Identification

Amritsar(Punjab): The Islamabad Police have dismantled a gang involved in the international illegal arms trade. Five members of this syndicate have been arrested, and law enforcement officials recovered illicit weapons that were allegedly smuggled from Rajasthan for distribution at various locations. The police confiscated three pistols and 30 rifles from the suspects, exposing a well-organized operation.

Deceptive Operations
According to DCP Vijay Alam Singh and ADC-1, the initial arrests were made when police caught Muhammad Akbar, Javed Khan, Usman Ghani, and Kasim engaging in their deceptive practices. Akbar sold ice cream, while Javed was involved in dyeing cloth at Shimla Market. Kasim sold ice cream during wedding seasons, Mukesh painted houses, and Aleem set up a stall selling chaap (a type of food). This clever guise allowed them to operate without raising suspicion.

Criminal Exposé
The gang’s activities went undetected as they blended into their roles in everyday commerce. However, their elaborate scheme to trade illegal arms on a large scale has been revealed through diligent police work. The police are currently investigating further connections to this criminal network and the extent of their operations.
