Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 4 Salman Khan’s Film Drops Below ₹10 Crore on First Wednesday..
Eid boost fades as Sikandar sees a sharp decline in earnings…
Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s latest release Sikandar has witnessed a sharp decline in its box office collection on its fourth day. The action-packed entertainer, which started strong due to the Eid festivities, has now dropped below the ₹10 crore mark. On its first Wednesday, the film managed to earn only ₹9.75 crore, marking a significant dip from its previous days’ earnings.
The film had a solid opening, collecting ₹26 crore on Sunday, followed by ₹29 crore on Monday. However, as the holiday period ended, Tuesday saw a drop in collections with ₹19.5 crore, and Wednesday recorded an even bigger decline, bringing the total collection of the film to approximately ₹84.25 crore.
Industry experts believe that the initial surge in earnings was driven by Salman Khan’s strong fanbase and the Eid holiday advantage. However, as the post-festival days set in, Sikandar is now facing stiff competition at the box office and struggling to maintain momentum.
Despite this dip, analysts predict that the film has the potential to cross the ₹100 crore mark by the end of the week, depending on its weekend performance. If Sikandar can hold steady over the next few days, it may still emerge as a commercial success.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after a year-long break. The film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, with praise for Salman’s action sequences but criticism for the film’s predictable storyline. Rashmika Mandanna’s performance has been appreciated, adding freshness to the film.
As the weekend approaches, it remains to be seen whether Sikandar can regain momentum or if the downward trend will continue. The film’s overall box office journey will determine whether it becomes one of Salman Khan’s blockbuster hits or falls short of expectations.
