Shah: Women worshipped in India since ancient times

He said, “The independence movement started from the soil of Bengal.” “Bengal started every fight of the freedom movement and Bengal also fought the decisive battle, whether it was fighting through art or song. After the revolt of 1857, it was Bengal which did the work of awakening the Indian society that was in deep slumber,” he added. State Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar also attended the function.
