Setback for Justin Trudeau: Canadian Commission Cracks Down on Pro-Khalistan Terrorist Organizations
No Evidence of Foreign Involvement in Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s Killing, But Pressure Mounts on Khalistani Extremists in Canada
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently faced a setback as a Canadian commission report contradicted his earlier claims about the involvement of Indian agents in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The commission’s findings stated that there was no concrete evidence linking any foreign entities to Nijjar’s murder in British Columbia in June 2023.
Trudeau had previously suggested that he possessed strong evidence implicating Indian agents in the death of the pro-Khalistan activist, leading to a diplomatic fallout. In response, the Canadian government had called back Indian diplomats and accused the Indian government of involvement in the assassination. However, the commission’s report has cast doubt on these allegations, adding a new twist to the ongoing controversy.
While the Canadian government faces challenges in addressing these findings, the situation has escalated for pro-Khalistan extremists and gangsters operating in Canada. The crackdown on these terrorist groups has intensified, as the authorities are now focusing on their increasing activities. Several gangsters and handlers involved in organized crime in Punjab are reportedly operating from Canada, and their activities have become a growing concern for Indian law enforcement.
Punjab’s Director General of Police (DGP), Gaurav Yadav, confirmed that Indian agencies are in constant touch with their counterparts in countries such as Canada, the UK, the USA, and Greece to expedite the deportation of these criminals. Efforts are underway to bring back the most-wanted gangsters and terrorists who have sought refuge in foreign countries.
Prominent figures like Lakhbir Singh (Landa), Satnam Singh (Satta Nowshera), Goldy Barar, and Lawrence Bishnoi, among others, are among the key individuals being tracked. These individuals are linked to several criminal operations in India and are reportedly being handled by terrorists operating in Canada. The crackdown aims to bring them to justice for their roles in inciting violence and criminal activities.
