Senior journalist Rajendra Waghmare to receive ‘Global Inspirational Award’

Pune: City-based senior journalist Raju Waghmare will receive the prestigious ‘Global Inspirational Awards 2022’ in London in United Kingdom.
Waghmare told reporters here on Thursday that he will be honored with the award on September 9, at the Parliament in London.
The award will be presented by member of Parliament in UK, Virendra Sharma, in a grand ceremony in the presence of Lord Raj Loomba, Rami Ranger, Dr Sandeep Marwa and other dignitaries, he said.
The Global Inspirational Awards will be presented to the dignitaries at the five-day global event ‘Naya Bharat Mahotsav’ organized by the United Kingdom Trident Events and Media in London to mark the Amrit Jubilee year of Indian Independence, said Waghmare.
Promotion of the vision of self-reliant India and the mission export of the country’s economic vision and economic development to the global level, promotion of trade and technology and others will be organized under the New India Festival.
Waghmare will also be felicitated on September 8 at the Indian Embassy for receiving this award, said a press statement.
He has so far been honored with various awards in the country and abroad for his remarkable contribution in the field of journalism, it added. (UNI)
