Rising Star Corps Cycling Expedition flagged off from Atal Tunnel

Dharamshala: Rising Star Corps Cycling Expedition flagged off from North Portal, Atal Tunnel (Lahaul Spiti) H.P by CO Transit Camp Palchan and DC Mr. Rohit.
Lt. Col Devender Anand PRO Defence told UNI that the Expedition will traverse over states of Himachal, Punjab & J&K covering a distance of 620 kms to spread awareness amongst youth and encourage them to join Indian Army.
He said that the cycling team comprising of one Officer, one Junior Commissioned Officer and eight other ranks also interacted with the frontline workers and Wild Life conservation staff of Great Himalayan National Park, Shamshi, Kullu and expressed Indian Army’s gratitude towards them for providing their unparallel services for preservation of Wild Life in the nation.
