riptii Dimri Out, Sharvari in Talks for Aashiqui 3

Kartik Aaryan’s Aashiqui 3 faces casting controversies and legal challenges over rights….

Mumbai : The much-anticipated Aashiqui 3, starring Kartik Aaryan and directed by Anurag Basu, has become the center of multiple controversies. Originally announced in 2022, the film was intended to continue the legacy of the Aashiqui franchise with its romantic storylines and iconic music. However, its development has hit a series of roadblocks.

Recent reports claim that actor Triptii Dimri is no longer part of the project. Speculation suggests that her bold image, showcased in films like Animal and Bad Newzz, prompted producers to search for a “pure and innocent” face. However, a source close to Dimri dismissed these claims, stating:
“The reports are baseless. The film is not currently in development, and the rumors are fabricated.”

Another insider alleged that these rumors may have been deliberately spread to justify her removal.

While some reports hinted that Sharvari might replace Triptii, sources have clarified that Sharvari is not part of this or any other T-Series project at the moment. The search for the female lead continues as the team works on a new love story, tentatively scheduled to begin filming this month or next.

Mukesh Bhatt, the original creator of the Aashiqui franchise, has clarified that T-Series cannot proceed with the series without his consent. “The Delhi HC has ruled in our favor. As far as I am concerned, Aashiqui 3 is in a deadlock,” Bhatt stated.

The Delhi High Court’s verdict in September 2024 restrains T-Series from using the Aashiqui title without Mukesh Bhatt’s approval, adding another layer of complexity to the project.

While fans eagerly await updates, the uncertainty around Aashiqui 3 persists. Whether the project moves forward under the same name or with a different approach remains to be seen.

Stay tuned for the latest developments on this evolving Bollywood saga!
