Ram Navami celebrated across India with devotion and fervor
SRINAGAR/Gorakhpur, APR 10: Concluding day of the Chaitra Navaratras brought crowds to the temples, rivers and important locations with renewed fervor and devotion. From Lal Chowk to Lucknow, from Gorakhpur to Gandhi Nagar and from Bhuwaneshwar to Ganga Sagar in Bengal, devotees of Maa Durga and Bhagwan Shri Ram were seen jostling with each other to score the pious points and of course the Divine Kripas.
A Ramanavami procession was seen passing through the Lal Chowk, in Srinagar and enthusiasts taking their selfies with the historical pillar on Sunday.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed ‘Kannya Pujan’ on the occasion of Ram Navami festival in Gorakhpur Math on Sunday morning. Ram Navami processions were taken out in Lucknow Bazaars by young Hindu devouts. Similar crowds were seen at Gandhinagar and Banas Kantha in Gujarat where Union Home Minister Amit Shah performed puja and addressed some important meetings with his constituents.
Pujaris performed special prayers in Lingaraja temple in Bhuvaneshwar and Shri Jagan Nath Mandir at Puri. Reports of Ram Navami celebrations were received from Delhi, Bhopal, Indore and other historical places throughout India.
