Rahul Gandhi victim of amnesia should recall 1984 brutal lynching

Chandigarh, Dec 21: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his tweet on lynching, reminding him about the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and accusing the Congress leader of “selective amnesia”.
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi‘s tweet attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi contended that the word, lynching, was practically unheard of before 2014 when Prime Minister Modi came to power in Delhi, the BJP leader said that Rahul should remem
ber that it was the Congress government in Punjab at present and to turn a blind eye to the lynching of thousands of Sikhs in 1984 in Delhi could not be forgotten by anyone.
“The Congress had brought shame to the country in 1984 as its senior leaders were found to be engineering the large-scale lynching of the Sikhs”, Chugh said adding that instead of

pulling up the Congress government in Punjab Rahul Gandhi was trying to absolve its party leaders of heinous acts.
He said Rahul Gandhi was a victim of amnesia as his words and statements are always incongruous with facts.
