President’s daughter goes for Chikankari clothes shopping in Hazratganj

Lucknow, Jun 28 (UNI) The first family of the country was fascinated with Lucknow’s Chikankari.
On Monday afternoon, President Ram Nath Kovind’s daughter, Swati Kovind, who love the city’s Chikankari, suddenly reached a showroom of Chhangamal located in Hazratganj and made purchases.
The shopping of the daughter of the President was completely private.
Showroom owner Prabhat Garg told reporters here that the family got along with everyone with simplicity and were enamored of Lucknow’s Chikankari.
As a member of the first family of the country, Swati also wrote in the visitor’s book praising the establishment and the quality of the clothes.
The showroom owner said that she asked about the art, the work of the artisans and the material related to it.
