President to inaugurate Ramayana Conclave in Ayodhya on Sunday
Ayodhya, Aug 27 (UNI) President Ram Nath Kovind will inaugurate the ‘Jana-Jana Ke Ram’ Ramayana Conclave organized by the Department of Tourism and Culture here on August 29.
Various programs will be organized by the Culture Department on the occasion of Ramayana Conclave, state culture department officials here on Friday said.
The Culture Department has prepared performances of artists at four places in Ayodhya to receive the President.
The Ramayana Conclave, starting from August 29, is being organized in 16 cities– Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Varanasi, Vindhyachal, Chitrakoot, Shringverpur, Bithoor, Lalitpur, Garhmukteshwar, Bijnor, Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Saharanpur, Mathura and Lucknow.
In this conclave, ideological dialogues based on Ramayana and Ramkatha, attractive presentations of singing, playing and dance based on various episodes of Ramayana, staging Ram Leela as well as through theatrical presentations, various episodes of Ramayana will be shaped, so that the common man to get acquainted with its rich cultural heritage.
Ramcharitmanas Gaan Competition will be organized by Sangeet Natak Akademi under Ramayana Conclave from August 29 to November 1, 2021, in which children between the age group of 10 years to 18 years will be able to participate.
Around 2500 artists will get an opportunity to give their performances in this conclave.
