Pre-Poll trends, a warning signal in home turfs of Nadda & Anurag

Shimla: As a large number of dissidents and independent candidates, pre-poll trends in four seats in Bilaspur, the home turf of BJP’s national president Jagat Prakash Nadda and five in Hamirpur district home turfs of union minister Anurag Thakur have gone haywire. For the last 28 days long canvassing by home minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a number of election rallies in nine assembly constituency.
Now BJP seems to be perplexed as battle becomes difficult to assess as voters are silent and unmoved despite the shrillest ever campaign. It is 2017 Assembly Election chief ministerial candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal defeated by his own protege Rajinder Singh Rana by margin of around 2200 votes BJP leader succeeded to repeat party to power but Dhumal is forced to take Political exile under well knitted conspiracy.
In this election Prem Kumar Dhumal who was not offered ticket at Sujanpur, he quit the race pitting his choice candidate retired Captain Ranjeet Singh against sitting MLA Rana of Congress. In a special interview with UNI Prem Kumar Dhumal stated that he worked tirelessly to address various issues of Constituents in last 5 yrs. as he did not want to let them down after losing the electoral battle. Not only Dhumal, national campaigner Shah and Modi held rallies in Sujanpur.
In order to change the political atmosphere in the light, first Home Minister Amit Shah held a rally in Sujanpur. After that Prime Minister Narendra Modi left after holding a public meeting. After reaching Dhumal’s house, Modi patted Dhumal’s back on the stage, but the speech was praised by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and BJP leader Vinod Thakur from Badsar constituency. Sujanpur is not alone where it could be wafer thin margin but other four seats in Hamirpur are not free from Rebels. A party dissident Ashish Kumar as independent candidate from Hamirpur constituency giving sleepless nights to everyone. Congress’s pitted Dr Pushpinder Verma, who is the son of former minister Ranjit Verma, and BJP sitting MLA Narendra Thakur, who is the son of former minister Jagdev Chand. In another Anurag Thakur turf Badsar or Bijjari wife of former BJP MLA, Maya Sharma was pitted against two time sitting Cong MLA Indra Dutt Lakhanpal. A BJP rebel Sanjeev Kumar is in the fray as independent.

As Jai Ram Thakur constituted Samanya Varg Ayog for the upper caste movement reportedly launched by right winger organization formed a new outfit Rashtriya Devbhumi Party, put one Naresh Kumar in fray, he would cut into BJP vote bank not in Barsar but in many Constituencies. RDP put a total of 29 candidates in the fray.
In Bhoranj Assembly home turf of former Minister late I D Dhiman, PK Dhumal could not attend campaign in favor of Dr Anil Kumar Dhiman.

Like Hamirpur, the situation in Bilaspur is equally challenging in the home district of Jagat Prakash Nadda, the national president of the world’s largest party BJP. Despite Nadda’s persuasion, his favorite Subhash Sharma is standing in the election from Bilaspur Sadar constituency, showing eyes to Nadda’s second favorite and BJP candidate Trilok Jamwal. Everyone expected that Nadda would convince all the rebels and angry people of his district. But he failed. Bambar Thakur of Congress is challenging Jamwal from Bilaspur Sadar. In    In Naina Devi, BJP’s chief spokesperson Randhir Sharma in front of senior Congress leader Ram Lal Thakur.
Their victory is also dependent on the behest of Nadda. Those who defeated Randhir Sharma last time have been getting full respect in the party till date. What these people will do this time could only be a guess. Another Nadda loyalist from Ghmrawin, Rajinder Garg, a minister in the Jairam government, is pitted against Congress’ Rajesh Dharmani, a close aide of Rahul Gandhi.
Rajinder Garg is working very hard, but it is not easy to access the waves. While there is an atmosphere of chaos in Jhanduta too. Now all eyes are on BJP’s National President JP Nadda to see what big changes he could make in Bilaspur till the day of polling. It is very uncertain if he would manage all five seats. If he fails, he may have to face political difficulties at the national level as well.
