Police Bust Robbery Gang in Jalandhar, 4 Arrested

Jalandhar : Jalandhar police have arrested four individuals involved in a series of robberies in the city. The accused, identified as Manvir Singh (Monu), Karanpreet Singh (Karan), Tarlok Singh (Hero), and Ajay Thakur, were caught with ₹2 lakh in cash and stolen items.
The arrests followed a complaint by Vinod Kumar, a petrol pump employee, who was robbed of his Activa scooter and ₹2.22 lakh while returning home. The case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Division No. 6 police station.

Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma confirmed that along with the stolen Activa, two other vehicles were recovered. Investigations revealed the gang’s involvement in multiple similar crimes across the city.
