New Delhi, April 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met senior BAPS Sadhus- Ishwarcharan Swami and Brahmavihari Swami, and appreciated the BAPS relief work in the time of Covid-19 and during the Ukraine crisis. The Prime Minister also discussed the upcoming birth centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. “Met senior BAPS Sadhus, Ishwarcharan Swami and Brahmavihari Swami. Discussed the upcoming birth centenary celebrations of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj Ji and recalled his rich contribution to society,” the PM posted on Twitter. Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan or BAPS Sanstha is a Hindu denomination within the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. According to the BAPS website, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is a spiritual, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to improving society through individual growth by fostering the Hindu ideals of faith, unity and selfless service.
