PM Modi, Ministers pay tributes to brave Sahibzadas on Veer Bal Divas

Prime Minister spread the heroic story and dedication of Sahibzadas to the common people through “Veer Bal Diwas”, says Anurag Thakur

New Delhi: The martyrdom day of Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated as Veer Bal Diwas in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam today. Amidst grand cultural programs, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the brave Shahbazadas. On the occasion, Prime Minister called upon the youth present to ensure their contribution in building a developed India. Union Ministers  Smriti Irani, Min. for Women & Child Welfare, Minority Affairs and Anurag Thakur, Min.  of Information and Broadcasting and Youth affairs and Sports,  Anurag Singh Thakur were also present at the Mandapam.

Min. Anurag Singh Thakur said on the occasion that the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji always gives us the message of sacrifice, renunciation and immortality. “Respected Prime Minister  Narendra Modi has done a commendable job of spreading the heroic story and dedication of Sahibzadas to the common people through “Veer Bal Diwas”. Today, Bharat Mandapam witnessed a grand cultural program on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, in which the Prime Minister paid tribute to the Sahibzadas and called upon the youth present in the program to ensure their contribution in building a developed India. On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, I salute the supreme sacrifice of Gobind Singh Ji’s Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji in protecting the religion, nation and motherland. Their sacrifice, and dedication will remain an inspiration for ages.”

After the program, Anurag Thakur reached Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and offered Ardas. During this, while talking to reporters, he said, “Today not only the country but the entire world is celebrating Veer Baal Diwas. The Prime Minister has called upon the youth of entire India to become drug-free and adopt sports. Developed India is possible only when the youth of India are fit and drug free. Today, the world’s largest skilled manpower is being created in India through Skill India. The Prime Minister encouraged the youth to engage in physical and digital activities by joining the My Bharat platform.
