New Delhi/Bengaluru, April 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Indian music composer, Ricky Kej on winning the Grammy Award for his album Divine Tides. In response to a tweet by Ricky Kej, the PM tweeted, “Congratulations for this remarkable feat and best wishes for your future endeavors!”
Ricky Kej did India proud once again with his second Grammy for his album Divine Tides at the 64th Grammy Awards held at Las Vegas. The Indian musician won his second Grammy with the living legend Stewart Copeland, drummer for The Police, won the Grammy in the Best New Age Album. Copeland is the founder and drummer of the British rock band The Police. “Namste everyone. First of all, I like thank the living legend over here Sewart Copeland. Thank you so much for joining me on this beautiful musical journey. I mean I grew up with his music. I grew up with his posters on my wall and today I have won a Grammy along with him. It is absolutely amazing,” he said in an acceptance speech at the Grammy award ceremony. The extraordinary musician, who is also an environmentalist, said, “I just wanted to say something about co-existence, especially during these times.
