Pak Intruder at LOC attempts re-entry bid twice
Jammu: An intruder injured on the Line of Control in Sunday had been repatriated once and also made two attempts of Infiltration earlier from Nowshera sector in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Defence sources here told UNI that intruder identified as Tabarak Husain, resident of Sabzkot, District Kotli, POK when lying wounded was shouting, “mai marne ke liye aaya tha, mujhe dhoka de diya. Bhaijaan mujhe yahan se nikalo“.
“He was calling to people to rescue him,” sources said and added that his body was clean shaved, which is often done by the terrorists on a suicide attack as seen in the past.
Sources said that on April 25 in 2016, Pak intruders were apprehended by Jhangar Batallion in Naushera Sector.
“Indian Army troops observed three suspects trying to intrude the LoC but however, only two suspects could be apprehended included an injured intruder and one Haron Ali, 15 years,” they said.
Sources said, “Tabarak Hussain was cultivated by Pak Army (likely ISI) and he worked for Intelligence Unit for around two years and during this period, he was trained to acquire enemy information and establishing cover story in case the individual is ever apprehended.”
He also underwent six weeks training as a guide at LeT training camp and on April 25, Tabarak Hussain and Haroon Ali were launched with group of three terrorists from Kaldio, Sabzkot.
“The terrorists namely Mohd Kafil, Mohd Ali and Yasin were carrying WLS and planned to plant IED on operational track near forward posts used by Indian army,” sources said.
They added that both Tabarak and Haroon Ali underwent 26 months prison sentence and thereafter were repatriated via Attari-Wagah border, Amritsar.
On Dec 16, 2019, Tabarak’s younger brother Mohd Sayeed was apprehended by Indian army in same area where he has been shot at by Indian Army troops this morning.
“The intruder was found to be under heavy influence of drugs and also confirmed repatriation of his brothers while his present whereabouts are being ascertained,” sources said. (UNI)
