Nearly 30 skaters attend coaching camp at Jammu

Jammu: Around 30 skaters in different age groups participated in a five-day long coaching camp that concluded on Sunday here at Maulana Azad Stadium. The five days Roller Skating coaching camp was organized by parents in association with J&K Sports Council.
The Chief Guest on the occasion, Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu, termed sports as the best medium to learn various things in life and develop discipline vis-a-vis builds confidence.
The skaters of national and international level expressed gratitude to the Sports Council for upgrading the skating rink to high grade level, which will be of great help to improve medal tally for J&K skaters. However, coaches and other officials also attended the event. (UNI)
