NCP, Shiv Sena to work together in future polls: Sharad Pawar

Aurangabad/Mumbai, Jun 10 (UNI) NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday not only asserted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi will complete its tenure but also announced that his party and Shiv Sena would be together in future assembly and general polls. The veteran politician streamed lived on Facebook to interact with the party workers on 22nd anniversary of the NCP.
He told that when the tripartite MVA coalition was formed, the question of its stability arose. But, the coalition government is doing well and the ruling partners are co-ordinating with each other, he underscored.
He further said there is no doubt that Sena and NCP will work together in future assembly and Lok Sabha elections for representing common man in state as well as in country.
Lauding the party workers, he told that its because of their hard work that the NCP has completed 22 years and gained public’s confidence.
Praising Health Minister Rajesh Tope, he remarked that the health department worked efficiently under Tope’s leadership and now Maharashtra is recovering from COVID woes.
He also commended FDA Minister Rajendra Shingane for his work during the pandemic. The credit also goes to the people of the state for showing restraint in these tough times, he added.
Mr Pawar hailed Shiv Sena for coming up with Shiv Bhojan Thali scheme.
