Mudragada calls for silent revolution for achieving political power to Kapus
Kakinada, Jan 4: Former Minister, senior politician and Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, who is known for creating sensations, has come out with a call to Kapus to strive for achieving political power and work out for bringing a silent revolution, enlisting the support of backward classes and dalits.
In a letter addressed to Dalits, BCs and Kapus, he has recalled the strength of these communities that are deprived of political power, despite their numerical strength in the total population and asked them to ponder over his suggestion for coming to political power in a planned manner.
“The country has achieved independence but it has remained far away from these communities as they are used as stepping stones by two minority communities to enjoy political power making them still dependents. We must grab political power which they will not part with.
Going with a begging bowl will not give political power . Why should a negligible minority community enjoy political power at the cost of the Majority ? Why not the BCs, Dalits and Kapus who are numerically strong in the population enjoy power. How long we have to sub serve the minority communities as slaves? We also sit in the seat of power basing on our strength.
Let them realize our strength and in no way inferior to them. We must show our strength and time has come for bringing a change that too a total change in the political set up. For that we must chalk out a blueprint for achieving political power by solid silent revolution sitting across with the BCs and Dalits,” he asserted.
Mudragada further advised them to change the opinion that BCs, Dalits and Kapus are not affluent and hence they could not do anything. He said even a piece of hay singularly though weak , if united can pull down a mighty elephant.
In similar fashion, if all the BCs, Dalits and Kapus are united they can dislodge the so-called mighty communities and achieve political power ‘ he remarked.
Mudragada has appealed to elders of these communities to ponder over the idea of bringing out a silent deep rooted revolution for grabbing political power and made it clear that the state is not Jagir or Estate of any one .
