Mohali’s Park Grecian Hosiptal unveils painless Robotic Arthroplasty Center for knee repairs

To offer free Robotic technology inputs between Feb. 15 and March 31 on Joint Replacements

Mohali: Park Grecian Hospital, Mohali  launched a state-of-the-art Robotic Arthroplasty  for joint replacements   on Thursday.  Addressing a press conference, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh Saluja , chairman and director Robotic Arthroplasty Center of Excellence, said that equipped with cutting-edge robotic technology, the center features ROBO suite, incorporating ROBO 3D, ROBO eye, and ROBO arm. It will deliver unprecedented precision, efficiency, and superior patient outcomes. These technologies will clasdsify and define the patient requirement depending upon the basic bone strength before operation.

The center is a game changer as it reduces surgery time to just 10-12 minutes with no stitches, no catheters and minimal scarring, informed Dr. Bhanu.
The patient can walk within 4 hours and regain independence in 2 days post procedure. It is also powered by 3D augmented reality and artificial intelligence, he said .
The center will specialize in robotic hip and knee replacements, complex revision surgeries, sports medicine and arthroscopy, shoulder, elbow, and ankle joint replacements and orthopedics & trauma care.
With minimally invasive robotic technology, patients will experience shorter hospital stays, reduced pain, and significantly faster recovery times – all delivered with precision and care.
Meanwhile Park Mohali is also offering free robotic technology for the  patients booking from Feb. 15 to March 31, 2025.. Patients will only need to cover the cost of the treatment package, whereas the entire robotic technology (ROBO 3D, ROBO Arm, and ROBO Eye) will be provided free of cost. This initiative aims to make advanced healthcare accessible to all, said Dr. Bhanu Saluja.

Started by Dr. Ajit Gupta in Gurgaon in 1982 as a 50-bed hospital, Park Grecian Mohali is now a 450 bed multi-speciality health  facility and has plans to start a  Centre in Panchkula soon.
