Mohali Deputy Mayor Advocates for New Parking Lots in Phase 3B2

Mohali : Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi has reached out to the Chief Administrator of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) with a letter proposing key measures to improve the functionality of Phase 3B2 market. In his letter, Bedi highlighted the urgent need for additional parking spaces to alleviate congestion in the area.

Bedi also suggested the installation of a police beat box to enhance security, the implementation of a one-way traffic system for the market’s back lanes, and the undergrounding of electrical wires. He further recommended creating dedicated parking spaces for two-wheelers, improving waste management, and removing encroachments in the market area to ensure smoother operations.
