Man arrested with 40 grams charas in a Hamirpur village

Hamirpur, June 1 (UNI) Bhoranj police of the district have arrested one person Rajinder Kumar of Jahoo Kalan area of the district for carrying forty grams charas in his pocket.
A police spokesman said that during a surprise checking, a police team found a man sitting in a rain shelter on the intervening nights of Sunday and Monday and tried to run away from there by seeing the police vehicle. However, the alert police jawans nabbed him and during the course of checking, charas was found in his pocket.
He said that a case under section 20-61-85 of the NDPS act had been registered against him and further investigations were on to find out the source of the charas.
