Uttar Pradesh : In the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025 at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a grand cultural event titled ‘Cultural Confluence’ is set to take place on Monday, February 24, 2025, leading up to the Mahashivratri Snan on February 26. Renowned Bollywood singer Mohit Chauhan will enthrall the audience with his soulful melodies at the ‘Sanskriti Gram’ venue, offering attendees a musical immersion.
The ‘Ganga Pandal’ will host an Odissi dance performance by Pune’s esteemed artist, Sucheta Bhide Chapekar, showcasing classical Indian dance forms. Additionally, the event will feature a theatrical presentation titled ‘Shabari Ki Prateeksha’ (Shabari’s Wait) at the Ahilya Bai Holkar stage, directed by Subodh Kumar Singh. The Bhopal-based Little Ballet Theatre will also present episodes from the Ramayana, bringing the epic to life through drama.
The ‘Yamuna Pandal’ will offer a series of folk music and dance performances from 4 PM to 8 PM, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of Uttar Pradesh and other regions. Artists such as Abhayraj Yadav from Prayagraj, Rekha Rani Gaur from Mirzapur, and Richa Joshi from Lucknow will present traditional folk arts, providing attendees with an immersive cultural experience.
