Maat Pita Godham Mahatirth to organise Painting Competition for School students
Chandigarh/Banur : To inculcate a sense of respect for parents and elders at school level, Maat Pita Godham Mahatirth, Banur is organizing a Coloring/Painting competition for school students.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Gochar Gian Chand Walia, founder of Godham said that the under this initiative of imparting seeds of ‘Sanskar’ in our young minds, we are organizing a coloring competition. We will handover pictures to each school wherein students with the help of their parents and teachers shall understand the story behind the picture with enjoyment of the activity itself.
Students can send their entries to us through the school by March 10 by coloring the given picture and writing a description in 3-5 lines, said Walia.
The outstanding entries will be awarded medals and cash prizes during an award ceremony on April 10 at Godham Mahatirth.
Among others present at the conference, were Alpna Pathak, principal DAV Public School Rajpura, Kamal Pahuja, principal SD public School Rajpura, Usha Chopra, principal CM public School Rajpura, Chhaya Narula, principal Patel Public School Rajpura, Sonia Bhatia, principal KK High School Rajpura, Ashwani Garg Chairman Alliance International School Ramnagar and Swaran Sharma , principal Stellar International School, Basma and teachers from SD Model Senior Secondary School Rajpura and Godham members including Gajanand Kanapanawar, Deepak Mittal, Pankaj Jaiswal, Surat Walia, Kuldeep Thakur, Subhash Aggarwal, Navdeep Gudwani, Praveen Wadhawa, Kamal Gupta.
