Kerala CM slams IUML for ‘adopting ideologies of fundamentalism’

Malappuram, Dec 27: Lashing out heavily at the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), a prominent partner of the opposition in the State, the Congress-led United Democratic Front, the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said the Muslim League has redefined its position by adopting the ideologies of fundamentalist organizations.
Addressing a meeting of the CPI-M here on Monday,

he said the IUML has first alligned politically with radical outfits like the Jamaat-e-Islami and the Popular Front and now resorts to spreading the communal ideologies of the fundamentalist organizations.
The secular people in the League should recognize the shift in the policies of the League, Pinarayi Vijayan said.
The League has also been campaigning negatively against developmental activities like K-Rail, he added.
