Kejriwal, Atishi’s Schemes Disowned by Delhi Govt
Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojna and Sanjeevani Yojna Declared Fraudulent……..
Delhi : In an unprecedented move, senior officers of the Delhi government have publicly disowned the registration process for two schemes initiated by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi. The schemes—Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojna, offering Rs 2,100 to non-tax paying women, and Sanjeevani Yojna, promising free treatment for those over 60 years old in both government and private hospitals—were launched recently but have not been officially approved or notified by the government.
The public notices, issued by the Delhi Women and Child Development Department and the Health and Family Welfare Department, have termed these schemes as fraudulent. The notice warns that the registration for these schemes is unauthorized, advising the public to avoid any individuals or political parties collecting forms or personal information. The departments clarified that no such scheme had been officially launched, and any attempts to collect data for it were misleading.
In response, Kejriwal took to social media, accusing political opponents of trying to discredit the schemes and frame Atishi and other senior AAP leaders with fake charges. He stated that raids would be conducted on AAP leaders in the coming days before Atishi’s alleged arrest.
Earlier, the Delhi government had approved a scheme to give Rs 1,000 to non-tax paying women, but the official registration portal for this scheme is yet to go live. Kejriwal had promised that if AAP were to return to power, the amount would be increased to Rs 2,100.
