Karnataka reports 13,800 fresh Cov cases, 365 deaths

Bengaluru, Jun 5 (UNI) Karnataka has reported as many as 13,800 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the last 24-hours, taking the total number of infection to 26,83,314 in the state on Saturday.
According to the official sources, as many as 25,346 COVID-19 patients got discharged from various hospitals while 365 people have succumbed to the pandemic during the same period.
The sources said that the state capital Bengaluru has reported the highest number of 206 deaths in the last 24-hours, followed by 22 in Mysuru, 18 in Belagavi, 10 in Kolara, nine each in Ballari and Shivamogga districts and eight deaths each in Bengaluru rural and Dharwad district.
The sources also informed that in the last 24-hours as many as 1,42,291 people had undergone COVID-19 tests and the positivity rate for the day accounted for 9.69 per cent and the case fatality rate stood at 2.64 per cent.
