Committee asked to submit report in three days

Kanpur: Following complaints of delay in taking the injured to the hospitals and their treatment of the tractor-trolley incident in which 26 people were killed, the district administration on Sunday constituted an inquiry committee.
District Magistrate Vishakh G has constituted the committee to be headed by Additional District Magistrate (Finance) with Chief Medical Officer and Director District Male Hospital (Ursula) as its members.
It may be noted that during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to the hospital the victims complained that the injured were neither sent to the hospital on time after the incident nor they received timely treatment. It may be noted that 26 people, including 22 women and girls, were killed and 14 others were injured in the incident. The injured are admitted to the Hallet hospital where the condition of three is stated to be serious. (UNI)
