Kakinada SP presents Rs 1 lakh aid each to seven widows of police staff

Kakinada: Kakinada District Superintendent of Police M Ravindranath Babu has presented Rs.1 lakh each towards aid from the police corpus fund to widows of seven police personnel, at a brief function held at the district police office here on Wednesday.
The SP said that the department would stand behind the families of the police personnel and extend all out assistance for their welfare and speedy rehabilitation.
The seven police personnel who died on duty include M. Gopalakrishna Sub inspector, SVR Krishna Prasad and B Mohanrao Head constables, B. Badrinarayana, M Satish Kumar, K. Pradeep Chandra and M. Nagendrarao Police constables.
The family members of the deceased police personnel have profusely thanked the SP for the gesture. (UNI)
