Jaishankar: Kashmir Issue Will End Once PoK is Retrieved..
Most Issues Resolved, Trump’s Actions Could Benefit India…
London : Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has stated that the Kashmir issue will be completely resolved once Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is integrated with India. Speaking at an event, Jaishankar emphasized that most of the long-standing disputes related to Kashmir have already been addressed, and PoK remains the final piece in the puzzle. He reiterated India’s firm stance that PoK is an integral part of India and that efforts will continue to reclaim it.
Jaishankar also mentioned that global geopolitical changes, including the policies and actions taken by former US President Donald Trump, have indirectly benefited India in its diplomatic and strategic positioning. He highlighted how India’s assertive approach has strengthened its position in the international community, and Pakistan’s weakening global influence has further tilted the balance in India’s favor.
He pointed out that recent diplomatic engagements and India’s growing global partnerships have ensured that the international community increasingly recognizes India’s rightful claims over PoK. The Indian government has maintained that PoK is illegally occupied by Pakistan and that the local population in the region has been suffering under Islamabad’s rule.
Jaishankar’s statement comes at a time when India is bolstering its security measures along its borders and strengthening its defense ties with key global allies. He reiterated that India’s position on Kashmir remains unchanged, and any future resolution must align with India’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. His remarks have gained significant attention, especially in the backdrop of Pakistan’s internal challenges and its diminishing global support on the Kashmir issue.
With growing economic and strategic influence, India is now in a much stronger position to assert its claims over PoK. Experts believe that Jaishankar’s statement reflects India’s long-term vision and a possible shift in regional geopolitics. As diplomatic and military strategies evolve, India continues to work towards a resolution that secures its national interests and regional stability.
