Italy wins men’s 4×100 meter relay race at Tokyo Olympics
Kenyan runner Faith Kipyegon wins women’s 1,500-meter race with Olympic record time
Moscow, Aug 6 (UNI/SPUTNIK) Italian runners won the men’s 4×100 meters relay race at the Tokyo Olympics on Friday and claimed the gold medals.
Great Britain grabbed silver and Canada finished third.
Earlier in the day, Jamaica won the women’s 4×100 meters relay race. The US team grabbed silver, while bronze went to Great Britain.
Kenyan runner Faith Kipyegond won the women’s 1,500-meter race in an Olympic record time of 3:53:11 on Friday at the Tokyo games.
Laura Muir from Great Britain finished second, and Dutch runner Sifan Hassan grabbed the bronze medal.
