New Delhi: Indian manufacturing appears to be growing, creating more jobs. Indeed, the largest global hiring and matching platform, reports increased job openings in the sector and a need for new talents.

The Indian industrial industry is growing. Sashi Kumar, Indeed Head of Sales, believes India’s manufacturing industry offers many prospects for businesses and job seekers as it tries to become a worldwide powerhouse.

India’s industrial sector expanded 40% between June 2022 and June 2024. IBEF’s 2024 study attributed the growth to growing domestic consumption, government initiatives, worldwide investments, and global demand for Indian-made goods.

The growth trajectory has reinforced the industrial environment and boosted job creation, presenting attractive chances for job searchers nationwide, the survey stated.

Indeed data indicated rapid increase in specific manufacturing roles. CNC operators have witnessed a 160% increase in job vacancies, production supervisors 155%, and machine operators 119%. These occupations are rising due to the sector’s modernization and requirement for specialized expertise.
