HP: Twenty boxes of Beer confiscated from a car

Hamirpur (HP), June 21(UNI) Sujanpur Tira police of the district on Sunday registered a case under section 39(1)(A) of HP Excise Act against two people for carrying twenty boxes of beer( 240) bottles who were traveling in a car near the Pucca Bharo area of the district.
Both the men have been taken into the custody.
SP, Hamirpur, Dr Gokulchandran Karthikeyan said, those travelling in the car were Sunil Kumar of Chabutra village and Vipan Kumar of Asthota village of the district and they were carrying the beer without license or permit.
He said that further investigation was on into the matter.
