Himachal breaches grim milestone of 1-lakh COVID cases

Shimla, May 1 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh on Saturday reported 2751 cases of COVID-19 taking the case tally to 1,02,038 while 28 people lost their lives, the government said.
The death toll mounted to 1,512.
Of the fresh cases, 669 were detected in Kangra, 527 in Sirmaur, 334 in Solan, 282 in Hamipur, 280 in Shimla, 157 in Mandi, 146 in Bilaspur, 101 in Una, 83 in Chamba, 82 in Kullu, 27 in Kinnuar and 63 in Lahaul Spiti.
Of the demises, 18 succumbed in Kangra, six in Solan , one in Shimla, Una Kinnaur and Chamba.
The state is currently having 19,928 active cases.
