Haryana SHO and ASI Suspended: Ignored Threat Complaint

Panipat : In a shocking incident in Haryana, a Station House Officer (SHO) and an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) have been suspended for allegedly ignoring a complaint of life threat, which later resulted in the murder of a woman. The accused, reportedly enraged over a personal dispute, ran over the woman with a tractor, leading to her tragic death.

The incident unfolded in a small village, where the victim had approached the local police station to file a complaint about threats to her life. However, instead of taking swift action, the SHO and ASI allegedly suppressed the complaint and failed to provide her with any protection.

Two days after the complaint, the accused confronted the woman during a heated argument and, in a fit of rage, ran her over with a tractor. The gruesome act has sent shockwaves through the community, raising serious questions about the role of law enforcement in ensuring citizen safety.
