Haryana Leads in Inclusive Growth, Says Governor at Republic Day Event
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya Highlights State’s Achievements, Emphasizes Empowerment and Development
Faridabad : Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya praised the state’s progress in inclusive growth during the 76th Republic Day celebrations in Faridabad. He emphasized the government’s efforts in empowering women, supporting martyrs’ families, and advancing sectors like sports, education, and agriculture.
Governor Dattatreya unfurled the National Flag and inspected the March-past at Sector-12 grounds, addressing the gathering with a focus on Haryana’s leadership in inclusive development. He commended the state for significant initiatives such as increasing the ex gratia for martyrs and providing government jobs to their families. Haryana’s dedication to the welfare of its people has made it a frontrunner in various fields, he said.
The Governor also highlighted Haryana’s agricultural policies, including MSP for 24 crops and compensation for farmers affected by delayed sowing. He praised the state’s commitment to the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,’ which has propelled its progress.
Earlier, the Governor paid tribute to martyrs and cultural icons, including poet Surdas and Shaheed Raja Nahar Singh. The event was marked by cultural programs and the honoring of officials and citizens for their contributions to the state’s growth.
