Panchkula / Haryana : Chief Minister Nayab Saini has accused Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann of provoking farmers and escalating tensions. Saini stated that instead of engaging in discussions with farmers and addressing their concerns, Mann is instigating them, which is leading to unnecessary confrontations. He urged the Punjab government to take responsibility and purchase crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) instead of pushing farmers toward protests.

Saini’s remarks came amid ongoing farmers’ protests demanding legal guarantees for MSP and other agricultural reforms. He criticized the Punjab government for not addressing the root issues and instead allowing the situation to deteriorate. According to him, the Punjab CM should focus on governance and ensure that farmers receive fair prices for their produce rather than encouraging agitation.

The Haryana CM also called on the central government to work towards a peaceful resolution of farmers’ grievances. He emphasized that violence and clashes between law enforcement and farmers should be avoided at all costs. Farmers, on the other hand, have accused the government of ignoring their demands and using force to suppress their protests.

The ongoing tensions between Haryana and Punjab governments over the farmers’ protest have further intensified political debates. Opposition leaders have also joined the discussion, blaming both state and central authorities for mishandling the situation. The farmers remain firm on their demand for MSP guarantees, while the government continues to struggle with a resolution.
